Not that I was ever into Anvil, but with the new DVD documentary and their 13th album/CD coming out- they are getting more exposure/success than ever. I just seen them last night on Conan. Lips kinda reminds me of Slade`s singer (a bit goofy/makes faces). I don`t know about 'them' leading metal or rocks resurgence though...
Still, I love the underdog story. And they are down to earth simple guys.

What kind of pups are in your guitars, and do they work to help you get the sound you`re after? Some might go for the boutiquey type like Fralin`s and whomever, while some are happy with the more standard names like DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan. Is there a difference really or just 'exotic' pup bragging rights? I guess you won`t know unless you try them all. Then again some might be happy with the stock ones and leave them in.
Personally I think pups are the heart of a guitars...

Scratches in your guitars finish

I have some guitars with scratches or fine scratches in the clearcoat. Regular guitar polish doesn`t work at all to get these out and I don`t want to try car rubbing compounds on an expensive guitars finish. So my search was on and I found a site with some stuff that seemed too good to be true.

This stuff works!!!

I took a chance on an internet company (small no name company)- but got to tell you ...this stuff works...
