Tunings solution for stage?

For gigs I`ve been bringing one (extra) guitar to play songs downtuned 1/2 step (ala VH/GnR etc). To play them correctly pitchwise you almost have to. Plus it makes for playing them in the right positions and it`s easier than trying to transpose the fretboard. Well depending on how those songs line up in the setlist it can make for a lot of changing guitars and show stalls- time wise, plus it just gets old. So, I'm sitting here on a Tuesday afternoon, thinking about how cool it would be to grab my acoustic (or an electric) and go to an open mic night tonight (or tomorrow, or any other night I'm not playing)... but I have no idea who's doing open mic nights now (other than the RedLine in West Seattle on Sunday nights - saw the sign on their marquee today. I noticed these bars were taking a pounding by Craigslist. I have never talked to Stewarts, but Bubba talked with me about playing at his place on a sliding scale. If the bar grosses a set amount, you get paid based on that. I chose not to play under those circumstances, but if someone accepts the arrangement, i don't see a problem with it. What the hell is going on in western Washington? It`s just crazy, some whacked out people (and I bet people that are poor). Society is crumbling by the week.

Hope the officers are ok.
And I`m so glad the suspect was shot dead. He deserved it, while saving the taxpayers big money!

I watched curiously the report about this groundbreaking healthcare news and frankly was disturbed about all the hooks that were thrown in from everyone. It`s all about I want this then for my state- outta this deal. I do think it`s crooked. And to think it was supposed to be about big revolutionary healthcare changes and to provide it for everyone. If not free, then what was it that was said? That every American, mainly those that can`t afford it, would have it? That healthcare for people...

EPIPHONE BLUES CUSTOM tube amp...Trade?

Hi all,
I have an Epiphone Blues Custom tube amp I just got but I want to trade it for another Fender Hot-Rod Deluxe. Preferrably a USA one.

This amp has 2/12" Eminence "Lady Luck" speakers, 30/15 watt switch, class A/B wiring, 2 channels (dont have the foot switch).

It can be really nice and clean and then dirty like SRV. Very nice amp. definitley good enough to gig with.

I want another Hot-Rod Deluxe.
Anyone want to trade?

tuning system? I`ve heard of the Buzz Feiten tuning/intonation on some guitars, they`re usually sold with them on it. But I guess you can have yours changed with this system installed. I never had or played one so I don`t know if all this matters, but to some I guess it`s great. Some newer tuners even have a special Buzz Feiten tuning mode. Just thought I`d throw this out there and ask.

Thinking of getting a Les Paul, but I can't afford 2 grand for a new one.....or even 1500 for a used one. So I'm thinking of maybe going for a Epiphone Les Paul and replacing the pickups.

What do you think of these?......they worth the money?.....I just can't afford a "real" one.
